A machined Vesconite bushing recently replaced the original bronze king pin bushing on a Champion Grader. The costs of the Vesconite bushing was substantially less than the OEM part, saving the earthmoving company substantial costs. The Vesconite king pin bushings have reduced shaft wear and saved on down time due to no greasing required with Vesconite. The wear rate has also been drastically reduced.

Vesconite performs well in both wet and dirty conditions, with or without lubrication. Two Vesconite bushings replaced the original bronze bushings on a front-end loader ripper linkage. The new bushing where a major improvement on the originals, saving on lubrication downtime and offering a much longer wear life.

A bronze hanger bushing, which required regular greasing on a CAT grader was replaced with a Vesconite version to avoid lubrication times and rapid wear. The Vesconite bushing, which machined and fitted easily, has not only reduced lubrication, but also saved considerable expense due to both the housing and shaft being saved from damage.
